Kings of Comedy proudly presents its second International Comedy Night, Sunday, the 7th of April at the Comedy Club in Brussels.
If you’re a fan of professional British & American style stand-up, be sure not to miss this spectacular evening at Belgium’s only full-time comedy club, a club that not only offers top-rated entertainment, but also an amazing array of food and drinks!
Line-up: Bob Maclaren (NZ), Sally-Anne Hayward (UK) and the very special guest Alex Agnew (BE)!
Bob Maclaren has delighted every corner of the world with his laconic and surprising comedy. A combination of kiwi isolation and the lurid madness of Amsterdam gives Bob a refreshingly unusual view of life as he sees it. A storyteller extraordinaire with a body language that can be best described as mildly unhinged; His routines have been televised on every continent. “Maclaren’s relaxed style quirky humour and warm personality make for an enjoyable and entertaining conclusion to the Laughing Matters Festival.” (Dominion Post, NZ)

The deceivingly sweet image of Sally-Anne Hayward doesn’t prevent this UK club regular to be one of the sharpest & funniest female voices in British comedy. She performed several times at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe festival and was enthusiastically welcomed to the Adelaide Festival (Australia), where she received excellent reviews in 2012. BBC London called her “fabulous” and we agree!

Alex Agnew is a stand-up legend in Belgium, where he single-handedly filled the Antwerp Sportpaleis (12,000 people) 5 times in 2011. He agreed to help out Eddie Izzard to fill the same venue by performing a short set in English on Eddie's show. That shouldn't be a problem since Agnew is half-English and since he will be trying out his English set here at the International Comedy Night!
All we need is laugh…
